When you need some help in your garden and landscape, we have several programs that may help.
“We Plan/You Plant”
If you would like to improve or update your landscape, or are starting from scratch, and you want to do the work yourself, but really don’t know how to begin, this is the plan for you. Bob will come to your home, walk your property with you and talk with you about what you want to accomplish. He will leave you with a sketch for the first section you want to tackle (not a to-scale landscape design.) He will give you a coupon that you may use for $50 off your first $200 of plant material you purchase here at Ferda’s to make the plan a reality.
The cost for this service is $100 and must be paid before the visit. (We can take your payment information by phone or you can send a check or money order.)
“Bob, the Garden Coach”
This pla
n is similar to the one above, but is geared more to the homeowner who doesn’t know how or when to prune and care for an existing landscape, has insect or disease issues, or wants to know how to improve the soil for vegetable or flower gardens. No sketch is involved here, but when appropriate a written “prescription” will be left for proper care methods.
The cost for this program is the same as the We Plan Program above.
In Store Design
We can also work with you to choose appropriate plants for a landscape area if you bring measuremants and photos of the area in question to Ferda’s Garden Center on a cell phone or camera media card or flash drive. This alternative is available at no cost to you. (Please call ahead to make an appointment, to make sure someone will be available to spend the time with you that is needed to do this.)
